"Henty" is a small rural town that services the local farms (mainly Sheep and grain ), "The Rock" as locals describe it,is their local version of "Ayers Rock" and it would be about a 60min drive from Henty from memory, parking was just off the road then about a 20min walk through bush and scrub finds you at the base of a massive rock outcrop of about couple hundred feet, you follow a fairly steep but well trodden path for about 45mins, towards the top you suddenly break through the tree cover to reveal beautiful panoramic views of the local district.
