I was at a conference at the Novetel recently and i was really suprised at what was on offer at the olympic park. there is heaps of bike and running areas, swimming centre etc but also heaps of places to eat and grab a drink. Of course it is the site for Sydney's fantastic 2000 olympic games but i was pleasantly suprised by what else homebush had to offer. The Novetel is really nice too!

Its a long way out of Sydney about 45 minutes by train, used to hold 120,000 now only 80,000. It has a good atmosphere when its full but thats not to often. Unfortunetly it does not get used to often but if you are a sports buff you can do a tour of the stadium.
