Jul 19, 2008 Has a good mix of culture (Opera House) to restaurants and cafes, where you can sit back enjoy the view of the harbour and people watch. To shopping at the Rocks, with a variety of designer brands, novelty shops and esp during Sundays with the flea market. This is where you catch the ferries that would take you to different parts of the city, a cheap way to get around,too. Mar 20, 2009 circular quay is an exciting place to be on a warm summer's day. ferries leaving every few minutes to different parts of the harbour, including manly and taronga zoo. there are great views of the harbour bridge, a short distance away and on the southern side of circular quay is a walkway that leads to the opera house and royal botanical gardens. Oct 2, 2009 Circular Quay is the hub of Sydney Harbour, situated at a small inlet called Sydney Cove. It is a stepping off point when you want to visit most attractions at the harbour. Great view of Harbour Bridge and Opera House from Circular Quay not to mention some great cafes and restaurants situated around. Nice Place to hang out.
