The Queen Victoria Building is a big shopping building near Darling Harbour in downtown Sydney.  The QVB was built in the late 1800's and was a monument and you can see a statue of Queen Victoria in the front of the building on the corner of the street.  There is a lot of nice shops and the architecture of the building has been kept from the time it was built and has that old classical feel.  It's a beautiful building and it's nice just walking around inside the building and looking at the shops.  The QVB is also connected to several other shopping centers around the area through the underground shopping ways that connect all of them together.  It's also connected to the train that runs underground.  The QVB is also big itself as it is 4 or 5 floors and has that old cage elevator that is still in operation.  I would recommend this place even if you aren't a shopping person.  

The QVB gives me goosebumps whenever i'm there. The classic archiecture, the amazing clock on the top level. Christmas is my fave time here, with the big Christmas tree. Worth going to, even if your not shopping!

Haha probably the most interesting place in the whole city, not that I ever really saw a lot. It has a nice kind of old building feel to it, but it is huge and makes it extremely easy to get lost.

Lovely place to look at but you need lots of money if you want to shop
