The water is rough, but very warm. There's an outdoor restaurant (forgive me not remembering the name) where you can drink and shoot pool with the best view Austrailia has to offer. Also, the ferrry ride there is fun with a visible sunken pirate ship along the way.

so much to do here, either a one day trip to dunich or spend a week and relax, unwind and do everything from fishing, camping, canoeing, surfing, sand dune racing and relaxing with a glass of wine listening to the beach crashing on the shoreline..... mmmm nice place!

the nicest island to visit, very beautiful, peaceful and family oriented.I would recommend it to all ages to go there even if only for the day, its that close to Brisbane via ferry it possible to make it a day trip.
