West End is a really good place to spend a morning or afternoon. The sunny main drag, Boundary St, is full of interesting, one-off clothes shops and new and second-hand bookshops, as well as organic food stores, laidback cafes (I recommend Three Monkeys and the Gunshop Cafe) and trendy bars. It's quite well served by buses, or it's a short walk to Southbank, Highgate Hill or the ferry terminal.

Love West End! Very diverse; lots of funky clothes shops, alternative shops, etc., cafes (Three Monkeys and the Swiss Deli), and clubs (my favourites: Über and the Lychee Lounge). Probably not the nicest place to live though! But a fun place to visit either at night or during the day. Only about a 15 minute walk from South Bank.

The west end farmers market is an excellent low key and very local market reminecent of old hippies and organic farmers. The produce here is quite cheap, especially for vegetables. It is usually bustling with activity every saturday. Love it!

good place to go for a nice feed and a local bistro, there are especially some nice dessert bars and cafes dotted all over, also there is a fantastic market on a weekend :)

The main road at night is busy enough to entertain you and safe enough for the kids and the ladies. It's a mecca for the weird and wonderful.
