Compare Hong Kong and New York, Gold Coast the beach side hotel still very affordable and huge size. The sands like a baby powder, one of the best beach in my experience. Need to try the beach side seafood lunch. If you like shopping forget it, there is not for shopping. Prepare more time in the airport, the line move very slow.

So good I came for a Holiday in 1991 and immediately went back to NZ to pack. I've lived here ever since. Queensland, beautiful one day, perfect the next!
Winter months are the best. Usually around 22C with clear blue skies. Beautiful beaches, golden sand. Lots of night life or just go shopping.

Love it!! Great weather, great beaches, lots of theme parks and markets. Great destination!!
