I used to live in an apartment down the further end of the esplanade and we would walk down the strip every morning. There is the perfect combination of the beach and shopping and no one cares if you are browsing throuh their store in your togs!!! (unless of course you are soaking wet) It is definately worth renting from one of the beach front apartments by the water where the beach, clothes stores and restaurants are in very easy walking distance. Some of the best places to eat are the Surf Lifesaving Club and this little Indian place down one of the side alleys- it looks dodgey but the food is to die for!

Mooloolaba is one of the loveliest, and cleanest beaches anywhere. The Esplanade is lined with cafes, restaurants, boutiques, galleries. A lovely place to spend some time!

Has it all, restaurants, nightlife, outdoor relaxation activities. Big annual events.
