Jungle Surfing is a series of 5 environmentally friendly platforms built within the trees of the Daintree forest and connected by flying foxes. Safety conscious guides assist you "fly" from platform to platform. Once you slide off the first platform, there is no going back. It's fun and excitement (and a little bit of fear) all the way to the end. (Oops, better not forget the educational learnings about the flora and fauna too).

My favourite place in Australia and about the best beaches you will find anywhere. North of Port Douglas; there are three choices of accomodation... two in the rainforest and one by the beach... I loved the one near the beach. All around this area the rainforest meets the reef... all very lush.

Cape trib is a great place to go from Port Douglas. Hire a rental car with a few people and plan a day trip. If the rental company tells you not to go offroad with a Daihatsu Cuore (a shoppingmall trolley with a roof above it). Don't by it! Ours survived real well!

A friend and me rented a car to go to Cape Trib. But unfortunately when we arrived it started raining and it didnt stop for hours... So we run to the beach in rain and yes it is possible a nice place but yet it was to wet...

It´s a beautiful place that I think everybody should see
