any time is a good time to go to the beach though at different times there will be MORE tourists then other times. great to have an ice cream, making sand castles or a romantic walk at sunset. boundless ideas can be done on the beach! :)

If you plan on swimming in the ocean, then don't go there during the months of Dec throught to March as many of the beaches are un-swimable due to stingers (jelly fish)

steer clear of Surfers Paradise if you're not into drinking and posing in a sea of tourists. Hit the coast futher north for better beaches and a cooler vibe

Loved the beach, plus there is loads to do there even if you don't want to use the beach
