An interesting place to stop on the way to the centre of Australia. It's located along the Stuart Highway. The town in an opal mining town that because of the heat mostly lives underground. It can be a little dangerous in central australia. But in a group it's OK. There is some awesome underground accommodation that I would recommend. Definitely a place to experience a different way of living!

An amazing place to visit in the middle of nowhere but well worth the drive. Eat an amazing pizza at the local restaurant, play golf in the dark, pan for opal and then go to bed in a hotel under ground. This place is like being on another planet!

Not a bad place underground houses no doors or locks and water wholes not suitable for barbies. really hot place and remember dont stop for anyone!
