A beautiful place with interesting history. Great hour forest walk along the edge of the gorge overlooking the river with lots of possibilities to see wildlife. Easy-to-follow trail, don't go off it and you'll be fine:) A 19th century hydro-power station- for those who like great engineering examples. At the end of the walk (or beginning if you prefer as the path goes in circle) there is a little cafe with a number of peacocks. Don't feed them- or they will pester you for more untill you leave! If you are interested in architecture- go for a drive/walk around the city. Many of the houses are just marvellous!

Cataract Gorge is a beautiful place with two walking trails. There is an easy trail and a rougher harder one on the other side which is more hilly and can be slippery under foot. The view is beautiful from a boat. A must see.

Spectacular. Best swimming spot for the whole family. Great walks, plenty of wildlife and a fabulous restuarant!

Go have a swim at Cataract Gorge! It is beautiful and very refreshing :)
