Hotham is a great place to ski when there's plenty of snow. There's not much beginner terrain - in fact only a couple of runs, so those runs get pretty busy!!! It's different to most on-mountain villages that I know of, as the village is at the top of the mountain, so you ski down and catch the lifts back up to the village. When there's plenty of snow, my pick is the Blue Ribbon area, or the Orchard!
