I was there twice in '77 and 2005. the city has changed a lot. Many historical buildings and houses have gone and replaced by modern skyscrapers, but I still love the city. It's safe enough for a woman to walk at night!! They have a lot of immigrants from Europe and Asia, so their food is as authentic as ever. You can eat Real Taste of Italian, Greece, Turkish, Spanish and Asian that may not be found in the original countries any longer. My son's second home.

The Box Hill Centro is not only a beautiful shopping center, but has the best bargain shops, toy stores, eateries and much more. There is a metro railway station inside this shopping mall and there is a bus station just outside the mall. All in all, a peaceful market, where you would get almost everything you would look for and is quite peaceful for a market.
