Dieser Platz ist direkt neben dem Hauptbahnhof in Melbourne. Als ich da war, fanden die Weltmeisterschaften im Schwimmen statt. Alles hielt sich auf dem Federation Square auf und der Platz war voller Stände. Die Gebäude, die zum Platz gehören, sind sehr modern und haben eine geniale Fassade.

Fed Square has become a focal point in Melb due to its central location and big open area that is the site of many festivals. There's usually always something going on here and its a great meeting place. There's a museum there, plus bars and cafes.

There is always something happening at fed square. Almost every week there is some sort of celebration or festival. Even when they're not running it's still a great place to hang out; with restaurants, bars, cafes, museum and a theater.

It looks crap but its a great spot for entertainment particuly if there is a sporting event on - everyone will come here to watch it on the big screen. For some good drinks transport is a nice relaxing bar with 3 levels

an ugly concrete centre, the is little shade and in summer it can be very hot and only usable in the evening, there is also no shelter from the elements in winter, the square is a huge waste of taxpayers money
