One of the world's most scenic roads through an extended area that includes the world-famous Twelve Apostles, the Otways rainforest, Bells Beach, on the Surf Coast, and the Great Ocean Road itself. Experience resort towns like Torquay, Lorne and Apollo Bay, the coastal cities of Geelong and Warrnambool, and the historic villages of Queenscliff, Port Campbell, Port Fairy and Portland.

We travelled the Great Ocean Road from Melbourne to Warnambool in 2 days (coming back inland through Colac). If you like driving you will love this trip! Pack plenty of good tunes and you can't go wrong. To avoid the road rage of locals pull over at the laybys and let them pass whenever possible - much cooler vibe than having someone drive right up your arse while you are trying to enjoy yourself

One of the best attractions around Melbourne. And also one of most popular tours offering. The key point of this road is, of course, Twelve Apostles: a bunch of rock stacks standing by the rock coast. You can drive it your own or take a tour. Also on this road you might visit several lighthouses, rainforest and a colony of koalas and try to find one your own :-)

The way to the Twelve Apostles is beautiful. You get to see agricultural land with it cows, prairie, jungle, beautiful ocean, small towns. Very scenic, even for a girl who comes from one of the most beautiful country in the world like me. Very romantic too, ooops,or it felt like it because I went there with my then-boyfriend on Valentine's Day.

A must for any tourist, the drive itself is great the whole way, you can stop off at the ottways and do a tree walk, and there are a number of lookouts along the way with the 12 apostles being amazing. It is by far and away Australias best drive

I loved going on this drive when i was younger. The views of the ocean are spectacular. If you are visiting Warrnambool, this is a good trail to take. I think there are quicker ways but this is much more scenic and worth the extra time.
