Getting there:
From Perth, take Highway 2 (Kwinana Freeway) south to Rockingham. Take 18 west, then 1 south, turn left onto Paganoni Road, and left again onto Marapana Deer Park Road.

Cute little zoo less than an hour from Perth. Admission is cheap, and for $30, you can hold a koala. Compare this to $20 at the larger zoos on the east coast, where you can get your picture taken, but you can't touch the animals. Also, get up close and personal with kangaroos and other native creatures. :)
