Whether it's to visit the wildflowers in spring, enjoy a picnic in the sun overlooking the river, catch an open air movie in summer or simply to get the best view of Perth at night, Kings Park is a wonderful place to visit.  On a sunny day you can walk for hours throughout the numerous parks or settle down with a book and relax on the grass.  It's a fantastically pleasant way to spend an afternoon, although at night it can be a little creepy away from the main road overlooking the city.  They have also built a tree top walk of sorts reasonably recently which is enjoyable but nothing on the tree top walk in Walpole.

Lovely park, full of wild flowers and Perth monuments such as Jacobs Ladder, the DNA tower, the ANZAC memorial and much more, located just about half an hour drive from the Central Business District if you choose to drive through Perth which I don't suggest you do its quite an annoying place to drive through especially finding a parking space

Also a good spot for any sorts og workout, aussie football, riding, running ..whatever you fell like

Located on the western edge of the Perth CBD. King's Park is a great spot for views of Perth, South Perth and the Swan River. The park is full of Australian Native plants and Synergy Park has a Summer Outdoor Theatre. A great place to relax for young and old. A place not to be missed when visiting Perth!!!

In my opinion Kings Park is truly a magical spot and is certainly the most attractive inner city park in Australia ( Perth ). Native bushland . huge and plenty of lemon gum trees.For me Kings Park is one of the most beautiful recreation areas in Australia
