on sunny days, it is worth to walk up the moenchsberg from muelln altstadt and enjoy the breathtaking scenery! it's pretty easy walking or you can go up by the moenchsberg lift. you shouldn't miss it!!! you can walk to or down from the fortress and even get a better view of it!

It's a nice walk from the old town of salzburg up to the mönchsberg, where .you have a beautifull view on the whole city.

nice and cool in the Summer heat. I used to enjoy traipsing up from near the Domkirche...
