Mirabelgarten

Great place to go and relax. Sometimes you can find musicians or artists in the gardens. When I went, there was a steel drum band playing for a while, which my friends and I really enjoyed. If you head toward the palace and the fountain, you will recognize the area from The Sound of Music (the real family is from Salzburg and the movie was filmed there)--the stairs and such were part of "Do-Re-Mi"

Remember the movie "The Sound of Music"?If you do... Mirabel Gardens were used in "Do, Re, Mi..." song.. the very end of the song was filmed in the Mirabel Gardens... well not just the end, more then that... anyway a true Julie Andrews fan should visit Salzburg asap!!!

Beautiful place, in the heart of Salzburg, could spend warm sunny morning in there, surrounded by serene tranquility, listening to birds singins and fountains splashing. Nice cafes and restaurants are few minutes away.

You'll recognize it in the Sound of Music.
