The Mariahilferstraße is the most famous shopping street of Vienna and connects the Inner City (the first district of Vienna) from the MuseumsQuartier with the district of Penzing in the outskirts. The Mariahilferstraße is divided into two sections: The Innere (Inner) Mariahilferstraße and the Äußere (Outer) Mariahilferstraße; the divide is the Gürtel Street. The Mariahilferstraße is named after the sixth district of Vienna, Mariahilf, and vernacularly often called „Mahü" .

This street is epic.It has lots of stuff to buy,but I suggest not buying games because they may be in...German.A little browsing won't hurt anyone.I only went there for food and I like the water with aromas and the sweets are quite cheap.You should try the clothes shop you might catch a sale

It's a nice evening to walk along this 'street'. 'Street', because it's sooooo loooong. Places were you can do shopping and eat. I'm so interested in winter how looks like.

The best shopping place in Vienna. The whole trends district with stuff from C&A to Hugo Boss, as well as electronics and homeware. loved it. all in one place. the price is average, good stuff for good price

There are tons of shops stores, a lot of franchising, but single stores as well. Cheap or expensive, whatever you want.
And you can choose from a lot of different locations where you can eat.

nice shopping street by day, look for the sales! :) and nice bars by night!, there are also nice restaurants in the side streets: Restaurant Gloria in the Otto-Bauer Gasse
