there's several museums gathered around a great open-air-area with fountains, cafes, restaurants, etc and the most ugly but most comfortable sofas scattered around the whole area where you can just sit and people-watch for hours. in winter they 've got an ice-skating-rink and gluehwein (mold-wine) is sold.

MQ is a very good meeting point. You can hang out there on the "Enzis", furniture which was designed to revive the space, and get a drink from any bar there. Formerly the building compound was the royal court stables of the Habsburger. Now there are many different types of museums and excibition spaces inside the building. The most famous museum of all in MQ is the MUMOK (Museum moderner Kunst), which is our museum of modern art here in vienna.

moderne, quartier jeune, beaucoup d'animation le soir et générallement des représentations le week end (musique, théâtre de rue...). sinon autour de la place il y a le Leopoldmuseum avec une collection de tableaux de Schlimt, et les anciens batiments ont été rénovés pour servir de bars, de magasins...

Best for Summer. Take some beer from a supermarket and drink it there with friends, or get a cocktail in one of the bars, visit one of the museums or just go at the maria hilfer straße shopping. There you will always find something to do
