My favourite building in the world. When you go to see an opera here (and if you are in Vienna and don't you're short changing yourself) in the break go to top front room for a Champagne etc.
The first time I was there I was speechless (unheard of), later I was unable to describe the room adequately.
On top of that you get to see world class opera. If you think you don't like opera and you've never actually seen it I recommend you go. I completely revised my opinion having been there for Zauberflutte (The Magic Flute).
