The mud volcanoes near Qobustan are an odd sight. Mounds of cracked dry earth ooze and bubble grey mud. The volcanoes are near the petroglyph museum but can be hard to find. We hired a guide from the museum to show the taxi the way. It was an adventure in itself trying to fit 6 people in a LADA!
