De Meir is the place to be if you need something in Antwerp.
It has got every cool store you need, has plenty of places to sit and is really cosy. You have an excellent view of what we call the Boerentoren and if you look closely, you can spot the cathedral. De Meir is also brilliant because it is a central place in Antwerp. It has got plenty of opportunity to take the tube. And else, just dive into the streets next to De Meir and see what treasures of Antwerp lie behind the well known streets.

Not a big fan of shopping and I find this streets too busy during opening hours and too quiet after closing time. But since nearly everybody passes here the benches are a good place to sit and watch the world pass you by. If you like it all a little less commercial and a bit more edgy go shopping in the Kammenstraat which is just a few steps away from the Meir.
