The Zimmer square is a small square, partly car-free, where it is great to have a drink or lunch on one of the many terraces when the sun is out. On this square, you will find the Zimmer tower on one side and the prisoner's gate on the other side. The square used to be docks, and locals still refer to it as the "quay". It's the main nightlife area of the city.

It is such a cute little square, best visited in the evening. Tons of restaurants around one for every taste, some really good. Not the place you go for a quiet night out because when the restaurants close the pubs and nightclubs open.

Zimmerplein met de wereldbekende Zimmertoren. Veel caféetjes op een rij, de kleinere versie van de Oude Markt in Leuven. Leuk leuk
