The symbol of the city situated in the city centre. The cathedral itself is actually unfinished, but I guess that isn't a problem for anyone. Nowadays when you visit the tower you can walk on the glass walkway and enjoy the views of the city and the neighbouring cities.

However you arrive in Mechelen. Train, car, bike.... this is the first thing that you will see! Try going all the way to the top on a sunny day and enjoy the scenery. You can see Brussels on one side and Antwerp on the other!

There's over 500 steps to get to the top, but it's definitely worth it. Check out the new skywalk at the top of the tower.

Located at the centre of Mechelen and it's beautiful market place. Lots of restaurants and pubs surround the place
