The castle is kinda cool, but not impressive on the inside. But that doesn't matter, it's all about the outside here. The setting is brilliant (three rockpoints above the 'Semois', the local river) and the whole area is lovely. It's one of the greenest area's of Belgium. The castle itself is famous for the landlord: Godfried van Bouillon. He was one of the leaders of the first crusade. Close to Bouillon there's a road across the hills with an amazing panoramic view of a peninsula. (you can even the curved road on the map, the shape of it will tell you where to go ;-) )
