In october 2007 we visited the Liefmans Brewery (home to Kriek and a couple of other beers) in Oudenaarde. A very warm welcome and interesting tour was waiting for us. After seeing lots of old industrial machines, most of them not in use anymore, we were invited to taste some beers. As a surprise we even got served lots of fresh baked breads! The brewery itself is not in use anymore for the most part but that doesn't make it less interesting. Do visit, if you like a beer or 2!
