If in Leuven visit The 'Groot Begijnhof' that is nowdays a University residential quarter for students, professors, and employees of the University. Also, the Infirmary of the 'Begijnhof' has been converted into the Faculty Club, a place for the academic, scientific, administrative, and technical staff of the University to meet.

A large beguinage including a Spanish quarter, a church, a modern congress centre and hotel, etc. Superb for a walk combined with a picnic or reading a book. Quite romantic.
