Grab one of them strong beers and a waffle full of ice cream, strawberries and chocolate sauce, and just chill out in the square. Its a bit touristy but fun none the less. Who can say no to beer, waffles, and architecture?!?!

Leuven is a typical Middle Age city, much like Brussels. Here you can find the oldest university in Belgium which is why the city has a very youthful atmosphere.

Definitely one of the nicest places in Belgium... pretty much any Grote Markt is the most picturesque place in the city, but this one is even more special.

Always busy, especially on a warm evening when everybody comes out here for a drink, rather touristy as well but the architecture makes it worth while.
