We took a cave tubing tour which left out of Belize City. We rode on a bus about an hour and a half outside of the city and on dirt roads far back into the jungle. Then we hiked through the jungle for almost an hour carrying innertubes, mining helmets with lights and our life jackets. We jumped into the cold and refreshing waters (it was extremely hot out) of a river on which we floated through an underground cave system. The river was sometimes a few inches deep to about 30 feet deep. It was incredible to view the cave this way. Afterwards we hiked back to the bus and had lunch at a roadside restaurant.
