Oct 10, 2009 I`ve done some snorkling in Shark-Ray Alley last weekend. It was absolutely breathtaking.I did not get there from San Pedro though.I rented a boat with a "captain" to take me there from Caye Caulkner. Its only 1.5 km "drive" .Water was crystal clear and my guide knew where to anchor exactly, to get the best "catch of the day".Three hours snorkling trip cost 60 belizean dollars per head,so be carefull no to get screwed .That should include your snorkling equipment ,if you dont mind sharing a snorkel. If you do , try to get a new one from any chineese store on the island .Drinking water and some fresh fruits are provided as well.So have fun and say hallo to sharks!
