The reserve is not accessible by bus.
By car From Georgeville, stay on the Chiquibul Road from Mile 63 onwards. From Santa Elena, take the Cristo Rey Road that leads directly out. Both roads are rough, and a 4-wheel drive is recommended. The reserve entrance goes through a gate houses that leads towards D'Silva Forest Station.

Oct 31, 2008 The waterfalls and caves at Mountain Pine Ridge are fun to explore. The downside is that much of the reserve has been devastated in recent years by pine beetles, so the blanket of forest isn't much in many places. Still worth a visit as attractions are many, but be prepared for some ugly dead zones of trees. Related Links
