About Paro Valley
A green bowl shaped valley surrounded by lagged mountains, Paro Valley is one of the main historical valleys of Bhutan, and is home to a number of famous cultural attractions. The valley is dotted with pray flags and hilltop Ihakhangs (temples).

Oct 31, 2008 I have never never had a landing on a flight as the one I took into Paro. The plane looked like it was going to hit the mountains as we banked and turned and swirled our way down. A small town with some really interesting sites in the neighborhood. Very chill. Related Links
