Oct 30, 2008 A must see stop on the way out to the salt flats. Where trains went to rust away in the sun and salt. Odd place, but some of these trains are in decent shape and climbing on them (be careful) makes for fun photos. Too bad they don't run anymore as it must have been an interesting ride. Sep 10, 2009 Nearly all the tours that leave Uyuni to see the Salt Lake and so on pass by here on their way back. We passed by when it was to dark to take pictures. In the evening dusk it was a very eary place. Oct 10, 2008 There is outside of Uyuni the end of train rails. You find there the old steam locomotive from the 50's. Is the only special place in Uyuni, no more interessting there than desert.
