Bonito is a gorgeous place! There are lots of attractions but unfortunately because Brazilians are not very conscious about preserving nature, most of the most gorgeous attractions have to be done with a guide, which is still a good experience to learn about the place but dealing with the loud crowds can be annoying. Don't forget to try crocodile meat, it's delicious! Most restaurants in bonito a very affordable and you shouldn't have problems traveling on a budget. We staying at the "Pedra de chao" pousada, an affordable, comfortable place with friendly staff and trees that grew exotic Brazilian fruits . You can spend hours climbing the tree and trying the fruits out. The owner incentives his guests to do it, he will also be happy to tell you everything about them!
