Rio de Janeiro dispensa comentarios. Apesar dos problemas com violencia e pobreza, comuns a outras cidades do Brasil, eh uma cidade muito bonita e o carioca aproveita tudo de bom que a cidade oferece!

Rio doesnt need any comments! Despite of all the problems with violence and poverty, common to big cities in Brazil, it is a very beautiful city and the carioca (native from Rio) takes advantage of all the good stuff its city has to offer!

Although is not my favorite attraction in Rio, the Christ is a must see tourist spot in Rio, the view is astonishingly beautiful (unless you get a foggy day...hopefully not). I took the train to go there, which i strongly recommend, way much better than taking a taxi or a private car...don't forget to take the famous picture with your arms wide open....ok, is cliche, but whatever, how many times you will go back there? Just do it and enjoy... :)

That's a great place with an outstanding view! It`s a shame nowadays it`s charged about U$15,00 to go there. Try to go on official means of transportation. Unofficial cabs or cars are neither trustful nor completely safe. I'm brazilian and I was born in Rio de Janeiro, so, i know what I'm talking about. Enjoy your visit!
