There is really not much to see there. It´s just a street filled with people selling all sorts of things. A much more interesting market, in my opinion, is the Mercado do Lavradio, which takes place at the Lavradio street once a month.

every saturday an extensive range of local craft work and art. not too pricey but can be a little bit tacky! be ready to haggle!
