"Feiras" or farmer's market in Brazil are held every Saturday and Thursday. This one is absolutely fantastic for every kind of fruit, herb, and meat you can imagine. This is where you can come to appreciate all of the flora and fauna a country like Brazil has to offer. Stay downstairs to sample all of the fruit you can imagine (I still can't name half of the ones I tried), and then journey upstairs to savor the best Mortadella you've ever tasted in your life. A great way to spend an afternoon! Warning: it gets crowded, so try to get there a bit earlier.
