Joaquina's Beach is one of many interesting Brazil attractions and a well known and popular beach in Florianopolis.  There are excellent and large waves for you to surf on, and there are places to practice sandboarding too.

Dunes where you can do sand board. It is located in the middle of the island of Santa Catarina between a Lake and the beach of Joaquina, a well known surf beach.

Cold water, very beautiful, nice to surf, the best place to eat near there is "Beco"
It's a shame coming to Florianopolis and not visiting Joaquina!
