The old Nessebar located on small island, just next the main town is under UNESCO.. It dates the time of the Roman Empire when the entire territory of what is today Bulgaria had been the the eastern part of the empire. The streets and buildings are dated from the Renaissance Era of Bulgaria, which is about 150 years back in the history of this land.
