If you enjoy nature, when visiting Bulgaria, find time to climb Rila mountain up to the Seven Lakes. There is a bus to the Panichiste, but first organize a transportation to the 2150 m mountain house from where you start an easy climb. The view is great, it is nice to see horses as they pass by, free... To the top you need not more then 2 hours on eeeeeeasy walk, and around 1,20 hour to get back. Drive is about 40 minutes. We payed jeep 50 eur (for 4 persons) to the top and back, but we were pretty much ripped off. So watch out.

the lakes are in the rila mountain actually but it's really breathtaking
