The Village Artisanal is exactly what it sounds like, a place for local artists to showcase and sell their artworks. Prices here are fixed (although some negotiation may be allowed but don't expect it to be like in the markets) and higher than you may pay elsewhere but the quality is superb and you will be left alone to browse through the stock without being hassled.

Prices here are certainly higher than on the street but the quality often outranks what you see elsewhere in Ouaga, and the fact that there is no hard sell here makes it a very pleasant, and interesting, place to browse through. Most local types of art are available here, statues, masks, fabric, jewellery, you name it you're likely to find it here.
