Mekong dolphin’lrrawaddy dolphin’s, the rare aquatic mammals in the world, live in fresh water. At present, only 80 to 100 dolphin live in the Mekong River between Kratie and Stung Treng and Cambodia-Laos border.Big dolphins are 2 to 2.8 m long with the weight of almost 200 kg.

You can visit them in the early morning and late afternoon. I had 1 more stop in Kratie to see them, but I couldn't see too much about them. :o( I thought it would have been good to stop to see 1 of those places where fresh water dolphins live. ( If I knew well oly 5 places in the world)
