About Phnom Sombok
Phnom Sombok is a small hill near Kratie with a functioning temple on top. You can walk up the steps to the entrance of the temple, visit the peaceful temple grounds, and meet the friendly monks and nuns. Further up the hill is a set of small pagodas with images of Buddha. The hill also offers excellent views across the Mekong River (the best in the area since it is the only hill around).
