Thala Boravit today is a small village located on the west bank of the Mekong, just across from Stung Treng.  It used to be an important river trading post during the Chenla Empire, but there is little left from that time period.  What remains are the remnants of several brick towers, mostly in a ruined state.  This is of interest only to the most dedicated explorers.
