The Ta San Mosque was mostly destroyed during the Khmer Rouge regime, leaving only the bullet scarred walls standing.  The building has been rebuilt recently and is now home to some members of the Jahed sect of Islam, and the Imam is reportedly friendly to visitors.  The man who brought Islam to Cambodia is buried here.
