Attraction for travellers (foreign and domestic). For the collector: cheap 'traditional-looking' goods; and for the bargain-finder: $2 books and dvds (dvds - 'local quality certified' - domestic legitimacy)... Cambodia is a place to bargainbarter.

If you ever think you need something, whilst in Phnom Penh - doesn't matter what - the Russian Market will have it - or at least something that is identical, and always at a lower price!

you can get anything here, but take water as it is very hot and covered so no fresh air. try the 'best ice coffee in cambodia' round the back, there aint lying- it's fantastic!

Get there early when it's quieter, not so hot and humid. Barter on everything, go around once to get a feel for what's on offer and what sort of prices are reasonable

It's a great place to see the locals go on about doing business. And a great place to bargain and do try out the local delicacies :)
