Les Chantiers Ecole is a handicraft center that is located in
central Siem Reap.  It was founded in 1992 to help revitalize
traditional Cambodian culture after the rule of the Khmer Rouge. 
It teaches disadvantaged youngCambodians skills in wood and
stone carving as well as silk weaving.  They have a store – the
Artisans d’Angkor, which sells outstanding crafts such as
Angkorian statues.
